My Story David & My Story Joseph Children's Books

I love finding children's books that teach my children about Bible stories and Bible characters to help them understand them more. I recently was given 'My Story Joseph' and 'My Story David' to review I love these 2 children's books because they give the perspective of each of their lives.
Kids are accustomed to hearing stories about their favorite Bible heroes—but what about from the perspective of the heroes themselves? In this My Story series from Make Believe Ideas, heroes come to life as they tell kids their life stories from a first-person perspective. At the end of each book is a “Sticker Journal”. Kids can place these 64 story-themed stickers into the stories, adding another element of fun!
My Story Joseph description:
With his coat of many colors and abundant faith, Joseph is a favorite character of many children. In My Story: Joseph, the hero chronicles his amazing life that children treasure from the Bible. Kids will learn from Joseph’s story to always trust God, no matter what the circumstance, because He will see them through.
Joseph's life, is to me, one of my most favorite Bible characters to read about. I was especially excited to receive this story book and I'm very pleased with it. I love that each book is written in a way that we talk today; it very easy to relate to and is likable to read.
My Story David description:
Children have long heard the story of David and Goliath, but they’ve never heard it straight from the young hero’s mouth. In My Story: David, the young shepherd with enormous faith tells kids about his decision to fight the Philistine soldier mocking the tribes of Israel. Children will learn that trust in God helps them to do great things, no matter their size!
My kids love that there are stickers at the end of each book- what kid doesn't love stickers?! Also, the illustrations are fun and my kids love talking about the pictures and pointing out what they think looks silly. I definitely recommend both of these books. They are suggested for ages 3+, but my youngest is a year and half and loves to sit and listen to me read them. Plus, I think it's never to young to read to babies and teach them about Bible stories.
