I have been a proud Keurig owner for a little over a year and a half now, and just recently won a new Keurig machine at a Twitter party (talk about lucky!). My husband and I are BIG coffee and tea lovers. We both like to drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day, so having a variety of K-cups is important to us so we can easily and quickly make a cup of coffee. I was recently introduced to an ecafe, Cross Country Cafe and am very excited to tell you about them for several reasons. First, read below to get more familiar about them.
We have been family owned and operated for three generations and still going strong. We are thrilled to be one of the few National Distributors of Keurig K-cup coffee products but, find satisfaction in selling a coffee that we have passion for. We have worked hard to create a different kind of online shopping experience, we are a community of coffee lovers coming together to share our thought, tips, advice and expertise. We hope to become a trusted friend that you can turn to to satisfy all of your K-cup coffee needs (adapted from crosscountrycafe.com).
So being that my husband and I love to try new K-cups, I find it so great that Cross Country Cafe helps make choosing new coffees for me easier. Too many times would I read descriptions on k-cup boxes and think I'll like it, yet when I take it home and brew a cup, it is not at all what I expected and I basically hate it.
Cross Country Cafe has their reviews of each k-cup coffee on their website, whether is a blog review or video review. I was so thankful for this because 1 of the coffees I chose below (Wolfgang Puck: Chefs Reserve Columbian), I probably would have never thought of trying, but since I saw Cross Country Cafe's video review of it, I knew I would like it. So, with the help of all the wonderful reviews, I chose to try out Snapple: Raspberry Iced Tea (brew over ice), Newman's Special Blend Extra Bold Organic, Green Mountain Coffee: Organic Sumatran Reserve, and Wolfgang Puck: Chefs Reserve Columbian.
Snapple Raspberry Brew Over Ice : Green and black teas touched with a hint of raspberry sweetness. Designed to brew over ice using your Keurig (description from Cross Country Cafe).
This has been a big hit in our home, especially with my daughter! She loves watching the k-cup get brewed over ice, watching the ice melt. It taste just like a Snapple out of a glass bottle, and hits the spot on a hot May day (we've been having a lot of those lately).
Newman's Special Blend Extra Bold Organic:
Organic Keurig K-cups by Newman’s Own are a blend of Central American coffees. Darker roasted with a rich and robust flavor (description from Cross Country Cafe).
This coffee is by far my favorite to date. It has a great body to it, bold, but not too bold. I just love it and probably will end up doing the Schedule Repeat Delivery (monthly subscription). Yes, because I'll definitely go through a 24-count box a month, but also because Cross Country Cafe has awesome low prices! They are several dollars cheaper than the Keurig online store and much more cheaper than Amazon! And, if you spend more than $59 in one purchase, you will get free shipping! Stock up and save all at once!
Green Mountain Coffee: Organic Sumatran Reserve:
An exotically dark roast cup of coffee that is organic and Fair Trade certified (description from Cross Country Cafe).
If you are looking for a bold and strong cup of coffee that is also organic, then this coffee is for you! I personally like it, however my husband doesn't care for it as much, though he will drink it. I love the boldness of it….I need a good strong first cup of coffee in the morning, and this K-cup provides that for me!
Wolfgang Puck: Chefs Reserve Columbian:
This is a classic dark roast coffee with an intense aroma and fruity highlights. As you would expect from Wolfgang Puck, his coffees are selected from estate grown beans in the finest coffee producing regions, then roasted and blended to the chef's own high standards. This is fine quality coffee (description from Cross Country Cafe).
This was my and my husband's first time trying Wolfgang's coffee, and we are definitely hooked! This K-cup is my husband's favorite and I completely understand why! Wolfgang totally nailed this blend when creating it, no wonder it's his signature blend! Super delicious and smooth!
Overall, we are very happy with all 4 K-cups! I definitely recommend you ordering your K-cups through Cross Country Cafe, they have the best deals and really care about coffee and their customers. Besides coffee and tea K-cups, they also have hot chocolate ones! Something for every member of your family!
One lucky person is going to win (4) 24-count K-cups of their choice!
